Regulatory oracle

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

A regulatory oracle is a program that, in an automated way, reads proposed operations by an agent (usually a company) and returns a cryptographically signed statement from a regulating authority that the specified operations had no detectable illegalities. This is a means for agents to exercise due diligence in an automated way.[1] The goal of regulatory oracles is to handle the often complex regulatory compliance of cross border deals. With regulatory oracles, agents are more willing to engage across national boundaries.[2]
