René Heinzl (born 6 September 1977[citation needed]) is an entrepreneur and executive from Vienna with a background in technology consulting and industry automation.

Early life and education[edit]

Heinzl completed a technical college degree in electrical engineering at HTL Donaustadt followed by a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in electrical engineering at TU Wien in 2003 and went on to complete a doctorate in semiconductor physics and theoretical computer science at the same university in 2007.

He also has a strong background in mathematical modeling, scientific computing and semiconductor physics.[citation needed] He has also established strategic cooperations with Universities and companies in the US and Europe.[citation needed]

Career[edit]

Heinzl has been involved in a number of companies and organizations throughout his career, including serving as the founder and leader of Brantner Digital Solutions, Building Digital Solutions 421, and Dr. Heinzl Consulting, as well as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at MTB Beteiligungen AG. He has been responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies and technologies, and has received multiple awards for his work, including the ICEBERG innovation leadership award and the Google Cloud/Nagarro Innovation Challenge.

Heinzl has worked with a number of international companies and institutions, including Sony (Tokyo), Intel (Hillsboro), TU Wien (Austria), Silvaco (UK), Canon Europe, Groupe PSA (Peugeot S.A.) and Post AG (Austria).
