René Rogalla
René Rogalla (born 19 December 1963 Wallisellen, Switzerland) was a Swiss international football referee.[1]
Career[edit]
He officiated 10 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1998–2009.[2] He attributed a match in 2008 European Championship qualifing that played between Portugal and Kazakhstan 3:0[3][4] and others were in friendly matches. Rene Rogalla appointed two penalty kickes in friendly match played between Germany-Luxemburg (7:0) against Luxemburg, Germans Torsten Frings and Lukas Podolski converted it.[5] He also attributed two Euro U21 qualifying matches.
In club football he officiated some UEFA competition matches such as Champions League qualification (3), Europa League and qualification (2+6) and Intertoto Cup (3). He also attributed 9 Austrian Football Bundesliga in 2000-2009 and 166 Swiss Super League matches around 1998–2009.[6] He also officiated 2003 Swiss Cup Final that played between FC Basel - Neuchatel Xamax 6:0.[7]
