The Renée Stewart Band is an American Blues Rock band from Pomeroy, Ohio comprised of Renée Stewart (vocals), Dustin Nash (guitar), Phil Moon (backing vocals), Lyle Moon (bass guitar and backing vocals), Phil Ohlinger (keyboards), and Sean Walton (drums).[1] Their debut album Stories was produced by Neil Tuuri, and released on July 9, 2022.[2]

History[edit]

The band were formed by vocalist and writer Renée Stewart when she posted a song she wrote to social media. Dustin Nash responded, saying that he would like to add some guitar to her track. Around this time, Dustin recruited local lifelong musicians Lyle and Phil Moon to the project. Shortly afterwards, local musician Phil Ohlinger was added on keyboards, and in 2021, Sean Walton joined the band on Drums.[3]
