Renegade is an Indie Film set for release in 2021. The film is written, directed and produced by William Wright in his feature directorial debut. The film stars Ben Stapleton, Destiny Fraser, Gordon Cobb, Joey Weale, Max Arsenault and Nico Carter Caseley. Renegade follows a young parolee and a corner store clerk on the run from the police after they were wrongly accused of murder.
Plot[edit]
Max, an ex-con on probation, with clearly unresolved mental traumas, accidentally kills a man attempting to rob a corner store. In the process, both the murder and the robery, are blamed on him, and to avoid conviction, he flees town. At the same time, Eve, who was working at the corner store that night, is dragged further into the conflict by the mean detective assigned to the case, who suspects that she was an accomplice to Max. Fearing her inevitable conviction, she also flees, and by chance, Max and Eve reunite while separately on the run. They then decide to travel together, alongside a group of Renegades, across the island. Along the way, they discover more about themselves, and come face to face with their hidden demons.
