Personal life
Renny Johnson ( 01 Nov 1969 ) is a philanthropist, Indian Movie Producer and an actor, born to John Jacob Mundakathil and Marykutty Jacob in Kaviyoor, Thiruvalla, Kerala. He has one younger brother Benny Mathew and one younger sister Honey Sara. He is married to Anitha Johnson. The couple is having two children Andrew Johnson and Andrea Johnson.
He made debut in 2014 in the Malayalam, Vellivelichathil directed by Madhu Kaithapuram. Film did not do well in box office but his performance was noted and was praised by the audience. Who is from a South Indian well-known village called Kaviyoor, Thiruvalla, Kerala. He is also an Indian entrepreneurial by nature and a South Indian Film actor and Co-producer for more than 16 South Indian Movies. He is a prominent personality in the Airline and Tourism industry throughout the Middle East and also well known as a Film Maker of south India, He has also achieved remarkable success for his contributions to Social responsibility such as many charity activities in India and Oman.
He is one among the south Indian film industry as a Successful Executive Producer. He started his first movie in Tamil which is named as Singam, Deepawali. Telugu Movies like The Legend, Bezwada. Bengali Movie Deewana and also played an important role in a Malayalam Movie called Vellivelichathil, Naval Enna Jewel and proved that he can be an good actor as well. He has proactively created awareness on Oman Global Warming across the globe through a host of seminars and other initiatives. He did his MBA in Sale & Marketing and currently working in Muscat and Managing one of the Largest Travel Management Company of the Sultanate of Oman.
Early life
Renny Johnson initial schooling was at Abu Dhabi Indian Islahi and Indian School, where he acted in various plays and skits. He did his further graduation at Marthoma College and University of Kerala. He did his further education in London, Singapore. He also participated in debates and elocution competitions during his London and Singapore days. Renny Johnson was a noted student at School and Colleges, won many awards for his performance in many junctures.
As a film producer
Renny Johnson formed a production and distribution company called Mundakathil Films along with his Father John Jacob Mundakathil, one of the Kerala known entrepreneur. The production venture is in progress, Film will be directed by Shanavas, written by well-known writer Kalavoor Ravikumar. Camera handled by the Indian famous DOP Alagappan N. The movie is an love story.
