The library system of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (Rensselaer Libraries) covers all five of the university's academic schools.[1] Rensselaer Libraries may also be referred to as RPI Libraries or The Libraries at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.[2]

Physical Libraries[edit]

The Rensselaer Libraries consists of The Richard G. Folsom Library, the Architecture Library, and Institute Archives and Special Collections.[3] The Folsom Library, or main library, is located on 110 8th St.[4] The Architecture Library is located in the Greene Building.[5] The Institute Archives and Special Collections is located on the third floor of the main library.[6]

Organization[edit]

These three libraries are part of the Library Information Services (LIS) department.[7] Library Information Services is within the Division of the Chief Information Officer (DotCIO) portfolio.[8]
