History[edit]
Manoj Sethia, a former trader in Sadar bazar, Delhi, founded Mars Cosmetics in 2014. It was launched as an B2B offering to it's limited distributors across Delhi curating a range of beauty products. Brand name Mars is derived from the first letters of name from his family members that is (M- Manoj, A- Anju (wife), Abhishek (younger son), R- Rishabh & S- Sethia). The brand rapidly grew and started gaining traction from all across the India.
In 2019, Rishabh Sethia the elder son joined his vision of creating the most affordable beauty brand in India. Rishabh being a computer science graduate from Delhi technological university left his his job at DE shaw and joined in his fathers vision.

Interestingly the whole company has been bootstrapped till now.
