    RetouchMe is a body photo editor, developed for the owners of iPhone, iPad and Android devices. It is based on various options of corrections and photo editing, like body adjustment, teeth whitening, muscle increase, tanning, grey hair covering, removement of wrinkles and moles, background editing, tummy reduction, breast augmentation, etc.

    All editing effects are carried out by real designers in Photoshop by a few minutes. This feature distinguish the program from similar options online. It is backed up real human designers 24/7.[1]

    RetouchMe was created by Alexander Lozitsky (the founder of Gold.ua) and photographer Andrey Kazanovskiy and entered the market inMay 2014.[2]

    By 2017, RetouchMe had more than 10 million installations worldwide. For that time about half of the company’s revenue was coming from only 2% of the customers.[2]

    According to statistics, the application also popular among the male audience. So in may 2018 a new release of RetouchMen was launched specifically oriented on male users. It permits processing the image in a more delicate way, for men audience. Among classic options the application offers beard correcting feature and a big choice of abdominal editing.

    Features[edit]

    It does not request any photo-processing by user, because everything is to be done by editors and photoshop designers. After selection of the image, it is sent to one of the available designers. While the picture is being processed, the edit photo app screen indicates the end time and its current condition (in queue, retouching, checking results, sending). The final result may include not only improved body or appearance, but also showplaces and joke templates.

    The approximate picture processing time is mentioned in the pop-up window, appearing immediately after the confirmation of the order. Duration of editing depends on the list of requests to be applied to the picture sent by the user. From the same window, you can also share the retouched images on social media (Facebook, Instagram) or save it to your device.[3]

    The application permits to rate a designer, who worked with the user, and provide a necessary feedback to developers.[4]

    Selfie editors are widely used by every smartphone users to improve the look or hide undesirable defects. Changes depend on the result a user wants to obtain. Retouchme is considered to be one of the most used apps, which permit to correct almost every detail.[5] This body and face editor allows the user to use its editing features to do so much for example: removing pimples and wrinkles from your face, changing the size of your legs so they appear smaller or larger, reducing the size of a tummy, giving a tiny waist or a flat stomach, and eliminating fat folds and toning a body. Owing to a big number of options, app to retouch photos permits to significantly change the appearance, keeping the user’s personality.[6]
