Musical Career
2011- 2015: Career Beginnings
Retro started learning to produce beats with his boyhood friend Young Libra in high school sometime around 2011. They used the digital audio workstation (DAW) FL Studio or “FruityLoops” to engineer their beats/instrumentals. It was first introduced to them by Young Libra’s father and producer Sean Hardy Sr. As they developed their talents they began to work with several local rappers such as Jade tha Prince and Rooso Fuego on many singles and mixtapes.
2016: Azmyth School of Music Technology
After high school Retro took his talents to the next level by enrolling in Azmyth’s School of Music Technology in 2016 for beat production and engineering where he discovered his passion for recording arts. Retro studied production engineering and shadowed industry engineers and producers Ryan Adkins and Travis “Kold Kut” Moore. Retro began writing and recording his own music and released his first mixtape, Retrobution, following his graduation at Azmyth’s School of Music Technology.
2017: Debut Single and mixtape Retrobution

This became the headlining track on his first mixtape, Retrobution, hosted by DJ Boogie Bang.
