The book follows the stories of the fate of the cheetah, why the Ivy League universities care so much about sports to an alternative history of two of the biggest epidemics of our day: COVID, and the opioid crisis.[1]
Reception[edit]
According to Associated Press, the book is mostly a fan service for readers who enjoyed The Tipping Point [2] In a review titled "Is Malcolm Gladwell Out of Ideas?", the New York Times described the book as unambitious and outdated, comparing it to junk food.[3]
