Revo Fitness
Revo Fitness is an Australian fitness chain founded in 2012 and headquartered in Perth, Western Australia. The company operates on a low-cost, contract-free model offering 24-hour gym access with no lock-in contracts or joining fees. As of September 2026, Revo Fitness operates 77 locations across Western Australia (35), South Australia (17), Victoria (20), and New South Wales (5), employing more than 600 staff and recording approximately 2.5 million member visits per month.
History
Revo Fitness was founded in 2012 by Andrew Holder, then aged 21, while studying at the University of Western Australia. The first location opened in a 200-square-metre warehouse in Shenton Park, Perth.[1]
The business expanded from a single Perth location to a national network across four states. In 2025, Revo gyms hosted nearly 15 million member visits, representing a 77 per cent year-on-year increase. By September 2026, the chain operated 77 locations with a stated target of 100 by 2027.[2][3]
In 2026, Revo Fitness established the Revo Foundation, a charitable entity supported by Australian Philanthropic Services. The Foundation focuses on mental health and resilience, youth empowerment, and health and wellbeing, with a commitment to donate $500,000 in its first year of operation. A portion of every membership contributes to the Foundation.[4]
Business model
Revo Fitness operates on a high-value, low-cost membership model offering 24-hour access at memberships starting from $9.69 per week, with no lock-in contracts or joining fees. The model was designed to provide accessible fitness facilities without the financial or contractual barriers common in the traditional fitness industry.[5][6]
Community partnerships
Revo Fitness holds venue naming rights across three states. Claremont Oval in Perth, home of the Claremont Football Club (WAFL), was renamed Revo Fitness Stadium in 2019 following a naming rights agreement, which was extended until 2029 in 2022.[7] In November 2025, Prospect Oval in Adelaide, home of the North Adelaide Football Club (SANFL), was renamed Revo Fitness Oval under a two-year naming rights partnership.[8] In June 2026, the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) announced that Elsternwick Park Oval 1 in Melbourne would be renamed Revo Fitness Park.[9]
Revo Fitness also partners with SANFL Juniors to support youth football in South Australia.[10] Through community sport partnerships, Revo supports more than 130 sporting teams with over 50,000 participants nationwide. Additional partners include WA Football Juniors, Madalah, Ocean Heroes, Lifeline WA, and Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer.
Awards and recognition
In 2025, Revo Fitness was recognised as the number one Top Value Brand for Gym and Fitness Clubs in Finder's annual Customer Satisfaction Awards.[11]
In November 2025, Revo Fitness was named National Winner in the Outstanding Growth category at the Telstra Best of Business Awards.[12][13]
