The Rheintal Internet Exchange (RIX) is an Internet exchange point situated in Austria, Vorarlberg and the Rhine Valley. RIX is a non-profit, neutral and independent peering point. The IXP is funded through sponsoring and does not bill any recurring cost for the connect, except for a one-time setup fee. Members are able to connect to the IXP at three different sites located in Austria, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
