The Rhombus Rocket[1] is a powered steel roller coaster which opened in 1995 and was made by WGH Ltd located at Fantasy Island in Ingoldmells, Skegness. The roller coaster is one of many opening day attractions, and one of 3 WGH Ltd rides to open, the others being The Magical Seaquarium and Log Flume (Fantasea Flume).[2]
In 1993, Blue Anchor Leisure Ltd (Fantasy Island) approached WGH Ltd[3] to supply a powered roller coaster, which was similar in length and performance to that supplied originally to The American Adventure Theme Park.

Rhombus Rocket runs two laps around the layout with different speed sections. The roller coaster includes a helix and is built around the Log Flume. After the second lap, the train comes to an automatic stop inside the station, parking in a precision location.
In 2007, the roller coaster received a major refurbishment revamping the train and station.[4] The ride reopened the same year towards the end of the season. In 2019 the roller coaster again received another overhaul, repainting the track gold and brown, and the supports brown. The train also received a repaint.[5]
