Rhys Wishart

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Rhys Wishart (born 8 April 2001) is a young, ambitious entrepreneur who is seeking to make a difference in the world. Rhys takes many aspects from his politician father Pete Wishart, who is currently the SNP Shadow Leader of the House in the House of Commons and the chair of the Scottish Affairs Select Committee.

During a recent interview with Liz Truss, attended by him and his father, Rhys notably said "To make an embarrassing admission, I like video games. That's what got me into software engineering when I was a kid. I wanted to make money so I could buy a better computer to play better video games - nothing like saving the world, but saving the world is what I'm going to do."[1]

Background

Born in Perth in 2001, Rhys was educated at Perth Grammar School and later went to attend Craigclowan Preparatory School. Rhys lives in Perth and enjoys long walks in the Perthshire hills with his father, Pete Wishart. Rhys is trained in first aid and an activist for living a healthy lifestyle. Rhys regularly posts Instagram pictures with his friends and family, providing a small insight into life provided by the longest currently-serving Scottish National Party MP.[2] Rhys is also a proficient keyboard player, due to being surrounded by music his entire childhood courtesy of Alan Wishart.[3][4]
