Richard Hanania

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Richard Hanania is an American white supremacist who wrote articles for neo-Nazi and white nationalist sites such as Counter-Currents and VDARE.

In recent years, Hanania has reinvented himself as a political scientist, columnist and blogger.[1] He is currently a Research Fellow at the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies at Columbia University.[2]. In 2020 [3], he founded the Center For the Study of Partisanship and Ideology, a right wing think tank.

Hanania's work focuses on U.S. foreign affairs, science policy, Civil Rights law and political polarization.

He has contributed to The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and The Atlantic [4].

His doctoral studies were done at UCLA where he received his Ph.D. in 2017 [5]

In 2021, economist Bryan Caplan called Hanania one of the most influential thinkers on the political right, writing, "[W]hat’s most impressive about Hanania is the absence of Social Desirability Bias. He describes the world as it is, and offers advice to improve upon the ugly world in which we find ourselves."
