Richard Reynoso (born October 16, 1969) is a Filipino veteran singer, actor, and director, dubbed as the 90s Prince of Ballad. Rising to fame during the 1980s, he is best known for his hit singles "Hindi Ko Kaya", "Paminsan-Minsan"[1], and "Maaalala Mo Pa Rin".
Reynoso, alongside Toni Rose Gayda, is currently a host of A Song Of Praise Music Festival on UNTV, the only gospel music television program in the Philippines. He also frequently guest stars in the 2019 Philippine television drama action series, Beautiful Justice, broadcast by GMA Network.
He is a member of The OPM Hitmen, alongside four of the country's most versatile entertainers, Chad Borja, Rannie Raymundo, and Renz Verano.
Personal Life[edit]
Reynoso was born on October 16, 1969 in Makati, Philippines. He is the youngest of two children to Teresita Pelimiano Reynoso and Bibiano Emilio Ocampo Reynoso III.
He attended Don Bosco, Makati and later on Tagaytay Mendez Academy. He also took up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Majoring in Marketing Management at Philippine Christian University in Taft Avenue, Manila.
On March 24, 2019, Reynoso undergone into thyroid operation at the Cardinal Santos Medical Center. This was done to prevent the spread of cancer cells into his body.[2][3] After a six-hour procedure and 4 month recovery, Reynoso finally returned to performing shows, noting that his voice was not affected by the procedure.
