Richy Mitch and the Coal Miners (RMCM) is an American folk-rock band from Bozeman, Montana consisting of Mitch Cutts, Nic Haughn, and Jakob Ervin.[1]
History[edit]
The band formed in 2017 and has since released three albums: RMCM (2017), Solstice (2018), and Subliming (2019). In November 2022, RMCM's song "Evergreen" became a popular song on TikTok and has since launched them into playing a few headliner shows and festivals, including opening for Noah Kahan (2023).
Although the band enjoys giving different versions of their origin story at concerts and events, the band actually met in 2017 after a car collision among the three of them. The three emerged unscathed and exchanged information, prompting an online search to discover that the three had musical abilities in common. Thus, RMCM was born.
