Episode content[edit]

Morty notices the hospital's horse breeding program at Beth's workplace, takes an interest in it, and gets a volunteer job at the equine hospital. So he can use it to masturbate. A week later, Rick borrows a barrel of "horse semen" from the hospital to create a biological weapon to use on the underground race of cannibalistic horse people called "poor people" he and Morty are fighting. After Morty convinces Rick not to test the semen to see if it belongs to a horse, Rick sends a stream into the horse and the barrel explodes. When Morty wakes up, he sees that the semen has mutated into floating, man-eating toothy monsters. Rick blames himself for this, believing he brought the wrong sample, which Morty is very relieved and relieved about.

The family is airlifted by the President to the Pentagon war room, where Morty agrees to lie for Rick and tells the President that they know nothing about the epidemic. The President brings in Professor Shabooboo, the world's foremost sperm expert, who theorizes that the sperm is headed for the Grand Canyon because of its vaginal shape. When he brings in the captured sperm monster and announces his intention to analyze it, Morty shoots it to cover his tracks. At Morty's suggestion, the President sends Rick, Morty, the country's atomic bombs, and a helicopter full of Marines to the Grand Canyon. The rapidly evolving sperm shoots down the plane with a trebuchet.

Rick, Morty, and two Marines (one named Blazen, whom they think is incredibly cool) survive the crash, although the other Marine is killed in the sperm attack. Morty rescues a sperm whale with its tail stuck under a rock after recognizing it as its creator, and names it "Sticky". In the war room, Summer comes up with an idea to create a giant egg for the sperm to flock to, but her idea is stolen by Shabooboo. Blazen leads them to the caves where the sperm are hiding, and ends up stabbing himself in the chest, accidentally revealing that he wears a thong, shattering Rick and Morty's idea of him. The sperm freezes Rick in crystallized semen and the two are taken to a talking sperm in a mechanical suit known as the Sperm Queen, who reveals to a disgusted Rick that Morty is responsible for their creation.

Sticky frees them and together they defeat the sperm. As Rick and Morty begin planting atomic bombs along the canyon walls, they realize that all the remaining sperm are headed for Las Vegas. Summer volunteers with an egg that the soldiers have placed at the top of the Luxor, and they plan to shoot it into space after all the sperm get into the egg. Morty radios the President and tells him the truth, scaring him and the nearby Smith family. The President orders Shabooboo to shoot the egg into space, but learns that it will take thirty minutes. Shabooboo commits suicide for no reason, while Rick, Morty and Sticky are captured by the poor guys.

The King of the Poor plans to kill and eat the trio to punish Rick for having sex with his daughter, Princess Poneta, but she intervenes after revealing that she is pregnant with Rick's child. She convinces her father to send armies of paupers to fight the sperm. In Las Vegas, the chud and the government fight the sperm to prevent them from getting to the egg. The sperm queen almost crawls to the top of the Luxor, but is knocked down by Sticky, who fertilizes the egg out of instinct. A horrified Summer demands that the egg be destroyed, but the President refuses because the baby now exists and it's election season. He has no choice, so he launches it into space.

Sports Illustrated model Kathy Ireland, Blazen's widow, reaches out to Morty to ask him if he was wearing her thong when he died and encourages him to tell the truth, even if it hurts the people involved. Morty tells her the truth and she walks away in disgust. Poneta gives birth to a human-pig hybrid that looks like Rick and walks off with it without a problem, and Rick pulls out the "Easy" pin and squeezes it, causing her to say "that was easy".

In the post-credits scene, the astronaut is talking to Mission Control while doing maintenance on the satellite, and discusses how his wife gave birth to a baby to try to keep it on Earth, but he left her there anyway. As he talks about how guilt has affected him, Summer and Morty's baby rises up in front of him in a parody of 2001: A Space Odyssey and shakes him to death.
