CAREER Ricky Bell also known as "slick" is a member of New Edition alongside Ronnie DeVoe,Bobby Brown,Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill.Bell is also the lead singer of BBD (Bell,Biv,DeVoe).

Ricky rose to fame with his hit single "Candy girl" with New Edition in 1983 topping Michael Jacksons "Beat it".Other albums with New Edition include "Candy Girl" "New Edition" "All for Love" "Under the Blue Moon" "Heart Break" "Home Again" "One Love"

Bells BBD albums include "Poison","Hootie Mack","BBD","Three Stripes"

OTHERS In 2017 Ricky Bell was portrayed as Elijah Kelly and Caleb McLaughlin in BET's "The New Editon Story".

He was then portrayed again briefly by Elijah Kelly in "The Bobby Brown Story"
