Rihan Miya (Nepali: रिहान मियाँ) born 17 April 2001) is a Nepalese industrialist and entrepreneur[1][2]. He is the Chairman and CEO of the Midlaj Group[3][4]. He’s ancestral home is in Pokhara, Kaski. His father, Rahaman Miya, came to Nepalgunj for business purposes and Rihan was born in Nepalgunj[5]. He became notable after exporting plywood[6] from Nepal to Prayagraj, India at a young age. [7][5][1]
His company Midlaj manufacturing plywood at Indrapur, Janaki Rural Municipality-3 in Banke of Nepal[3]. Rihan started in business from the ninth grade. Initially, he produced fiber screen protectors for mobile phones, and personally launched marketing campaigns, carrying samples in bags and running to markets himself. After some time, the work was handed over to his brother. He separated in terms of business from his brother and started selling imported goods from Amul Dairy product from India and after sometime he also started the plywood manufacturing business[5][1][8]
