Purpose of track[edit]
- Current lack of sharing of patient data across organizations in a timely and efficient manner leveraging FHIR APIs. The purpose of this track is to leverage an established FHIR-PIT network in which individual FHIR-PITs represent different organizations and demonstrate Patient Data Query.
Description[edit]
- The Ring of FHIR is a network of FHIR®-PITs with a centralized FHIR Station that enables interoperability among organizations. Participants will use core patient narratives and code access to, to find information on a patient that is relevant to their business, using FHIR!
Expected Participants[edit]
Roles[edit]
- Health Information Network
- FHIR Servers (e.g. Health plans, Health systems, Provider Organizations, Government Agencies)
Scenarios[edit]
- Find all records for persona
- Find medications for persona
- Update encounter for persona
- Send and receive current encounter for persona
