Ringsaker Deanery
Ringsaker Deanery was created in 2007[1] as the 10th Deanery in Hamar Diocese. The deanery includes six parishes with 12 churches in Ringsaker municipality, Innlandet county, Norway. As of December 31, 2012, there were more than 33,400[2] inhabitants in this deanery. The parishes from north to south are Brøttum, Åsmarka, Ringsaker, Nes, Veldre / Brumunddal and Furnes. The priest's office is in Moelv, and the central church of the deanery is the medieval Ringsaker church[3]. The priest is co-located with Ringsaker church ecclesiastical councils in the Moelv church center. The clergy's staff includes the head priest, six parish priests, one chaplain and one deanery priest. In addition, the pastor has a case officer working 40% part time at his disposal.

Priest
The priest is Gerd Th. Christensen[4], who was appointed to the Ecclesiastical Council of State on May 15, 2008 and inaugurated in the office of Bishop Solveig Fiske in Ringsaker Church that same year.
