Rinsa Malone is a rapper and grime MC from North West London. He was born in Paddington and raised in Camden and went viral for his song "One Eye Open" which was released on 6 January 2022.

Career[edit]

Rinsa Malone began rapping in 2010 at the age of 20. He released numerous freestyles including the "Nahm Bread Freestyle" in 2011 with Joe Fire.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag He went to prison in 2015 for a year on drug offence charges. In 2017, he released the singles "Bad Spirits" and "Dry Cry", which featured Cooli Carlito, Enzstar and Scarshots which saw over 75,000 views collectively.[1][2] He was featured on the 2019 single "I Don't Wanna Know" by Alex Dutty[3] He was featured on the 2020 single "Windows" by English Russian rapper Mufasah.[4] and collaborated with Boy Better Know affiliate; Jammer's single "Believe" in the same year.[5]

Rinsa saw his first commercial success after going viral on TikTok in 2021 for his famous one-liner "One Eye Open When I'm Sleeping" which amassed over 10 million views, he later released the actual song for this one-liner on 06 January 2022 titled "One Eye Open".[6] The song was also sampled by UK Drill artist Rickyleupnext.[7]
