Risca

Risca is a town in southeast Wales.
It is located between Mynydd Machen and Twmbarlwm in a hilly area northwest of Newport. Ty-Sign housing estate was built in the 1960s for workers at Llanwern Steelworks.
It is currently split into 2 communities for council purposes - Risca West and Risca East.
In football the main team is Risca United FC. Risca Town FC also exists at a lower level.
