Riskified is a privately held company that provides software as a service (SaaS) fraud and chargeback prevention technology.[1] Notable retailers using Riskified include Macy's, Footlocker, simplehuman, Finish Line, Inc..[2][3]

Founded in 2012[4] by co-founders Eido Gal and Assaf Feldman and based in Tel Aviv and New York[3].
Funding[edit]
Riskified has secured a total of $64 million in funding. In June 2017 Riskified secured $33 million in a Series C funding[5] round let by Pitango, Capital One Growth Ventures and Groupe Arnault.[6] In February 2016 Riskified secured $25 million in a Series B funding[7] round led by Qumra Capital and NTT DOCOMO Ventures. In 2014, Riskified secured $4 million in a Series A funding[8] round led by Genesis Partners and joined by notable investors, including Entree Capital and Founder Collective. Riskified secured $1.7 million in seed funding in 2012 from Genesis Partners.[9]
Technology[edit]
Riskified’s technology uses behavioral analysis, elastic linking, proxy detection, and machine learning to detect and prevent fraud.[10] Riskified backs transactions approved by its technology with a chargeback 100% money-back guarantee in the event of fraud.[11]
Awards[edit]
Riskified won the 2016 METAward (MRC Emerging Technology Awards) for Spektra, an innovative behavioral model approach that uses new machine-learning algorithms to detect and avoid fraud. [12]
