Rissanda Putri Tuarissa (born August 4, 1999), known professionally as Sanda and Sanda JKT48 is an Indonesian actress, singer, and model.[1] She is known as member of girl group JKT48 from Japan.[2]
She emerged as a member of the Japanese-Indonesian idol group JKT48 in 2016, along with her friend from the same generation Adhisty Zara.[3] She debuted as a member of girl group JKT48, produced by AKB48 Group and Yasushi Akimoto[4]
Early life
Rissanda Putri Tuarissa was born on August 4, 1999 in Jakarta, Indonesia. She has an older brother and a younger brother.
She is a model and actress of mixed Dutch and Indonesian descent. Her mother is Dutch-Minahasa mixed blood, while her father is Minang x Dutch. She graduated from Dian Nusantara University.
Career
She is known as a member of girl group JKT48. Before debuting, she was an Indonesian model. She often participates in beauty pageants [5][6]
In May 2016, she participated in an audition of Japanese-Indonesian girl group JKT48. She passed the audition and introduced as a part of JKT48. She is officially become a member of JKT48 on May 28 in Jakarta, Indonesia.[7]
She made her debut as a member of girl group and an actress.
Performance
Sanda was selected to take part in the JKT48 Janken Competition 2016 which was held in Jakarta. Sanda then qualified to represent the other 5th generation members in the preliminary stage with the status of a Kenkyuusei “trainee” at the JKT48 Janken Competition[8] as well as determining the 14th Single Senbatsu together with Gabryela Marcelina, Sinka Juliani and Jessica Vania which was held the following night at Jakarta.
There are two members from JKT48 5th Generation who passed Janken, namely Sanda and Gabryela Marcelina as JKT48 kenkyuusei (trainee candidates).[9]
However, a few days later, the management announced Sanda's absence on Janken night due to a health condition.[10]
Prior to her debut, she trained with JKT48 and AKB48 Group for two years, before she decided to leave the group.[11]
