Ritesh Hada[1][2], an Indian businessman and prominent entrepreneur in the education sector, established Karnavati University[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]in 2017. The university, situated in Uvarsad, Gujarat. His contributions to the field of education were recognized when the Indian Journalists Union honored him with the Excellence in Education award during their 9th Plenary Session. Apart from his involvement with Karnavati University, Ritesh Hada holds the position of Promoter & Managing Director of United Group[12]. This conglomerate currently operates in various industries, including FMCG, Hospitality, Textiles, and Education.
Early Life Ritesh Hada comes from a Marwardi business family that has been residing in Kolkata. He was born to Kamalkishore Hada and Dropdi Hada. For his undergraduate studies, Hada attended Bhawanipur Education Society College, and subsequently, he pursued his post-graduation in marketing at De Montfort University in the United Kingdom.
After completing his post-graduation, Hada relocated to Ahmedabad, Gujarat. There, with the guidance of his uncle, he founded Karnavati Medical Education Trust in 2004. This trust is responsible for operating Karnavati School of Dentistry[13] and a hospital located in Uvarsad, not far from Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar.
In 2007, Hada conceived an expansion plan and established United School of Business with multiple campuses in cities such as Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and even Singapore. Subsequently, in 2012, he founded Unitedworld Institute of Design, which has become one of India's top private sector design schools. In 2017, Karnavati Medical Education Trust was granted the status of a Private University by the Government of Gujarat under the Private University Act 2009. Karnavati University now encompasses several schools and institutes, each with its own specialized programs:
Unitedworld School of Business: Offers various management and business-related courses
Unitedworld Institute of Design[14][15][16]: Provides courses in design, fashion, and creative arts.
Unitedworld School of Liberal Arts and Mass Communication: Focuses on liberal arts, media studies, and communication programs.
Unitedworld School of Law[17]: Offers legal education and law-related courses.
Unitedworld School of Computational Intelligence: Specializes in computer science and artificial intelligence programs.
Personal Life
Ritesh Hada is married to Neeti Hada, and together, they have two children: a son named Reyaansh and a daughter named Shree.
