Ritesh Hada(born 1980) is the Promoter & Managing Director of United Group. The Group is presently operating in the verticals of Education, FMCG, Hospitality, and Textiles. He became the president of Karnavati University in 2017.[1]
Life and career[edit]
After completing his postgraduate degree, in 2003, Ritesh Hada moved to Ahmedabad. In 2004, he started working on his dreams of providing quality education to the students and started the construction of Karnavati School of Dentistry. In 2006–2007, he ventured into healthcare with United Health Care by acquiring 7 medical colleges in the Philippines. In 2009, he established a business school, the Unitedworld School of Business (UWSB), in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata[2]. To fill the gap in the design talent pool for the industrial and non-industrial sectors, in 2012, the United Group opened the United Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, which is affiliated with the Gulbarga University and contributes to shaping the skills of talented designers in various design disciplines. In 2014, he started the Unitedworld School of Law. In 2017, Government of Gujarat granted Private University status to Karnavati University. In 2018, students of the Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), a constituent of Ahmedabad based Karnavati University, launched a clothing label called Colour Me Young by organising a fashion show.[3]

He has a brother named Nilesh Hada, who is Co-founded Singapore International School with his brother Ritesh Hada, and a sister named Priti Khaitan, who is married to Shakti Khaitan and residing in Kolkata[4].
