Riverside Renaissance Movement

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Riverside Renaissance Movement is a community improvement group based in the Riverside section of East Providence, Rhode Island.

Currently, it is a collaboration of residents, businesses, non-profit organizations, and city officials to make Riverside a more vibrant community where people want to work, live, visit, and play. Monthly meetings are held on the first non-holiday Monday of the month at the Riverside Congregational UCC Church.

The Riverside Renaissance began as a discussion in the living rooms of neighbors on Bluff Street in 2013. First conversations centered around the redevelopment of Vamco, an abandoned jewelry factory in the heart of Riverside Square. Now, members meet and vote on annual initiatives to work towards.
