Amoruso first came to wider attention as a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist in Melbourne band ‘’‘Jakubi’’’. Songwriting and production
From 2019, Amoruso focused on writing and production. He worked with The Rubens on their fourth studio album ‘‘0202’’; the band described sending material to three producers—Kon Kersting, Eric J, and Amoruso—depending on the song’s needs. ‘‘0202’’ became the band’s first Australian number-one album.
Amoruso is a frequent collaborator with Baker Boy. On ‘‘Gela’’ (2021), AllMusic lists him as a writer and/or producer on tracks including “Survive” and “My Mind”.
