Robert Hellgren born April 6, 1971 in Stockholm Parish in Stockholm, Sweden[1] is a Swedish entrepreneur.
Biography
Robert Hellgren is the son of Bert Hellgren and Gunilla Hellgren. His father was self-employed in Stockholm and his mother worked in healthcare. He is the younger brother of Mikael Hellgren, Helene Hanssens-Olsson and Karina Sanzobar. He grew up to the age of 19 in Kista in Stockholm and then in Vasastan. Hellgren was educated at Kungsholmen's gymnasium (1989-1991) note 1, and then went to Stockholm University (1991-1994) and studied history, economic history and business administration. During his studies, Hellgren worked at Aros Fondkommission and Montagu Fondkommission with stock trading.
At the end of 1993, Robert Hellgren started the company Borgstaden AB, which became the start of the construction operations that were conducted. The operations were focused on construction within Greater Stockholm and primarily within ROT jobs and contracting. The business grew during the years 1994-2008, and in 1998 Borgstaden Förvaltning (Fastigheter) and in 2001 Borgkärnan Holding (Parent Company) were started, in 2003 Borgstaden Entreprenad[2] was also started (Real Estate). The Group's operations were focused on construction and real estate. The operations were wound up during the years 2008-2010.
In 2016, Robert Hellgren was involved in starting up operations again in construction and real estate with a focus on rental apartments. The operations are conducted through the parent company OLM Holding AB, where OLM stands for Robert Hellgren and Pernilla Hellgren's children Oscar, Ludwig and Mathilda Hellgren.[3]
Robert Hellgren is married to Pernilla Hellgren (born 1972) and father of the children Oscar Hellgren (born 2002), Ludwig Hellgren (born 2007) and Mathilda Hellgren (born 2011).
