Early Life[edit]

Robert is a military veteran who left college to serve in the U.S. Army 1st Infantry during the Gulf War in 1990.

Career[edit]

Robert P. Dunlap is the Founder and Executive Trustee of META 1 Coin Trust, a gold-backed cryptocurrency with a social mission based on advancing abundance and equity for Humanity.

Following his tour of duty, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Houston, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Computer Science. Robert later completed graduate school from the University of London with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science. His focus was Artificial Intelligence and he published a thesis named the "Autonomous Business System" in 1996 and later successfully deployed technology based on his thesis.

Robert was recruited while completing his undergraduate degree by a large Houston-based pharmaceuticals company in need of major technology system upgrades. He was promoted to Chief Information Officer after only a couple of months at 25 years of age – the youngest member of the team.

He went on to launch numerous technology and finance businesses, generating annual sales of over $150 million by 2008 and ultimately retiring in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and four children in 2015.

Robert later pursued other business interests, that included forming the cryptocurrency company META 1 Coin Trust, a Private Trade Bank and established trading platforms leveraging commodity holdings for high yield trades while operating in a preferred international legal status.
