Rob began his ministry within the Church of England and still maintains a close relationship to the Church of England to this day. Rob started looking at independent ministry away from the Church of England due to the former's stance on Affirming and inclusion of disabled people. Rob at first explored the Progressive Christian Alliance and completed the training and was licensed by the PCA.
However Rob found the PCA to be headed in a direction closer to that of Unitarianism(that being a blending of multiple faiths and a rejection of Christian scripture and tradition that Rob could not tolerate) and Quakerism, and discovered the Episcopal Catholic Church, where Rob was ordained first to the Diaconate and then after a short period during which he wrote some papers on Anglicanism was ordained to the Priest hood in full Apostolic Succession.
Due to disagreements with the Episcopal Catholic Church (now known as Unity Episcopal Fellowship of America) Rob left along with Bishop Brian Putzier and Bishop Brian formed and legally registered the United Episcopal Catholic Communion with the idea of having a communion of both Catholic and Anglican Churches. In this vein the Anglican Apostolic Church (now named Anglican Protestant Church) was crafted as an Ordinance of the UECC.
Rob Completed his Masters Degree in November 2020 in Christian Theology writing his thesis on the idea of Unity but not uniformity within the Body of Christ with the exception of a few foundations that were set by Jesus, Rob also is Broad Church practioner meaning Rob finds the beauty in a High Church Service and a more informal Low Evangelical service believing both are fantastic Rob has joked this makes him a Evangelical Anglo Catholic Methodist (as a joke on how everything needs a label) Rob was appointed Sub Conditionate to the Episcopacy by Bishop Brian (Sub Conditionate being used only due to the Covid 19 Pandemic and travel restrictions across the globe). On the 1st May 2022 Archbishop Brian Putzier made the trip to Plymouth and consecrated Rob to the Episcopate
