On March 14, 2023, Roblox announced key details about RDC 2023 in a DevForum post, including the event's location, dates, and website. It was also confirmed that RDC 2023 would host the 2023 Roblox Innovation Awards.
Incident at RDC 2023[edit]
During RDC 2023, Simbuilder, the creator of the Roblox Game Vehicle Simulator, was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm and other illegal items. This incident raised concerns about potential threats to attendees at the event, prompting community reactions.[1]
