Rocksport Radio
Rocksport Radio is a Scottish-owned independent local radio station. It is based in Academy Park on the Southside of Glasgow and broadcasts to Scotland and the rest of the UK on DAB digital radio. All programming is produced in Glasgow.
History[edit]
Rocksport Radio was launched by director Colin Docherty in November 2017.[1] alongside radio presenter Bill Young, Kevin McAuley, former Head of Sales at GMG Radio and Business Development Manager at Real Radio, Ricki Neill, and Ronnie Johnston.
The station focuses on local sports and news including football, rugby, rowing, archery and more, creating a one of a kind radio station in Scotland. The station's shows will also focus on junior football and women in sport [2]
The station also supports unsigned bands and artists through their First Play Friday show[3]
