Rocky Hill
Rocky Hill was an American aerobatic and airshow pilot active in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He specialized in tumbling maneuvers performed in an Extra 300 aircraft painted with a glowing scheme designed to sparkle during high-G rotations.[1] Hill participated in Championship Air Show Pilots Association (CASPA) events, including the NAVplus Challenge Series at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 1999,[2][3] and the Wings Over Stockton competition later that year, where he placed in the top five.[1] He appeared at the Cleveland National Air Show in 1999 as part of the CASPA Challenge Series finale.[4] His act was noted in the context of contemporaries developing aggressive tumbling sequences.[1] His aircraft was sponsored by America Online during at least part of his career.[5]
