Rod Dacombe is a British political scientist and commentator. He is a Reader in Politics at King's College London.

Career[edit]

He is a Reader in Politics..[1] and Director of the Centre for British Politics and Government at King's College London[2]. He is also an associate member of the Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Oxford[3].

He is known for his work on democratic participation[4][5], including inequalities in participation[6][7] and the growth of unconventional forms of participation, such as conspiracy theories[8][9][10]

He is a regular writer and commentator on political issues in the media in the UK and beyond. His writing has appeared in The Guardian[11][12][13], ipaper[14] and the New Statesman[15]. His work has been featured in the LA Times[16], the Daily Express[17], VEJA Magazine[18], El Mercurio[19], Libération[20] and the Toronto Star[21]. He has also appeared as an expert commentator on television news, including CNBC[22][23][24], Bloomberg[25], Al Jazeera[26], Fox News[27], GB News[28], 7NEWS Australia[29], France24[30]
