Rodrigo Bautista

Rodrigo Bautista is a Mexican entrepreneur, strategic marketer and Founder and CEO of Ticketpass, an ethical ticketing platform challenging the industry’s status quo. Rodrigo also mentors and works with young entrepreneurs and early-stage innovative startups.

Early life and education[edit]

Rodrigo was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico. He holds a BSc in Marketing from Universidad Anahuac as well as an MSc in Marketing & Strategy from the University of Warwick.

Career[edit]

Rodrigo began his career at the headquarters of Adidas Group in Mexico as a retail trainer, helping to develop the Adidas e-learning training platform and training store managers all around Mexico, on sales technics, customer service, and technologies. Subsequently, he was offered the position of to E-commerce Merchandising Specialist to help grow and maintain the newly launched channel.

In 2016, Rodrigo joined HiyaCar as growth marketing executive, where car owners can rent their cars to other people when they are not using it. The “Airbnb for cars” in the UK.

In 2017 Rodrigo founded Ticketpass, a friendly and ethical ticketing platform for charities, businesses, and individuals.

Rodrigo is also part of the committee of Warwick Entrepreneurs Professional Network and mentors early-stage startups.

Entrepreneurship achievements[edit]

Whilst at Warwick, Rodrigo was identified as a promising young entrepreneur and as a result, was endorsed with an Entrepreneurship visa by the University. Having won Warwick Entrepreneurs: The Apprentice Challenge in 2015, subsequently reaching the final at a UK National Entrepreneurial Competition and winning the Warwick Start-up Cup in 2016.

Personal life[edit]

Rodrigo currently lives in London. He is an active keynote speaker and mentor.
