Roland Feiertag
Early Life[edit]
Roland Feiertag was born on June 19, 1945 in Beirut, Lebanon to his French Father, Jacques Feiertag and his Lebanese Mother Victoria Chaktura Feiertag. The Second World War prompted his mother to convince his father to move to Castelo, ES in Brazil in 1946 where they lived with his mother’s Family. He spent most of his childhood in Castelo as the poorest in the family, Very early at 7 he started to use his skills to negotiate and work knowing he had to make money for himself, he started restoring and cleaning bicycle lights for a change and several other tasks, until he learned to drive freight trucks at 15. Keeping up with school was no longer important for him, even though he was the best in his class; he dropped out of school to make a living. Soon enough he migrated into the mining sector, and started his own mining company at 18 alongside a business partner. His then partner ripped him off, and kept it all, he had trusted his friend to keep him signed to their contract. By this time he was 20 years old, and he lost everything he had worked for, having to restart his life, carrying the responsibility of a wife, child and lots of debts left from his partner.

Roland Feiertag is married to Marilla Moraes Feiertag and has four children; Roland F Jr (1966), Rogerio J M Feiertag (1971), Daniel M Feiertag (1974) and David M Feiertag (1977).
