Rolando Lekaj

Rolando Lekaj was born on July 27, 1991, in Lezha, located in northern Albania. He has a younger brother and a younger sister. He and his siblings grew up at a time when his family didn't have much money. Rolando didn't have hobbies like other kids; he just always wanted to help his father and bring money home. As a teenager, Rolando started waking up early to go to his father’s workplace. His father was a fish trader. Rolando was always a kid who didn't want to play first; he was satisfied just when he helped his family. His mother had a small market, and he always helped her to sell there. His house was built stone by stone by his father, Viktor, and him, because they didn't have money to pay workers. Without money or connections, the only way Rolando could get ahead was through education. He graduated from the University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi", faculty of Economics (tourism management), and started applying to as many jobs as he could. In 2013 he won a job as a manager of a large restaurant in Shengjin, Lezhe. In 2007-2009 he was part of different model competitions, for example:
1. Miss & Mister Lezha 2007-2008, where he got first place. 2. Miss & Mister Durrës in Albania, where he got the first prize and also the title Mr. Cinematography.
In the end of 2013 he started his real career as a model; he was modeling in Italy for Bindy model management, and later he traveled to China as a model. He was modeling there for HERMES, K-BOXING in Shanghai, D&G, GIVENCHY, HUGO BOSS, VALENTINO, JACK AND JONES, KAPPA, NIKE, ADIDAS and for well-known magazines such as GQ Asia, Leon trendshealf, Men-health, Harper's Bazaar. The most difficult time in his life was in China, because he worked so much for nothing. They just kept using him for modeling and didn't give him a cent. For weeks he was sleeping on roads, under bridges, and in McDonald’s restaurants. He was torturing himself because he had a big hope. - "My god has something for me there." In 2014 his life was changing because he won a job in a very big company, and from 2014 to the present he is CEO of one of the biggest companies in medical cosmetics in China, "YMR International Movie and Modeling Company". He is also responsible for around 300 models and actors for activities like: selection, organization, planning and controlling of them in different events all around China. He is also CEO and responsible for a large Medical Resort in Germany, HG-HEALTH gmbh, Baiersbronn near Stuttgart.
