Rom Shrestha (Nepali: रोम श्रेष्ठ; born October 27, 1990, Jhapa, Nepal) is a Nepalese cricketer. Rom is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.[1]
Career
Playing career
Rom was selected in Nepal Under-19s fourteen-man squad for the 2008 Under-19 World Cup.[2] Shrestha began playing cricket at the age of eight and his favorite cricketer is Andrew Flintoff.[1] He played five matches in the World Cup.[3]
Academic career
Rom Shrestha, after retiring from his cricket career, is currently involved in organizing the daily activities in Siddhartha Boarding Secondary School, which is owned by his father, Tej Kumar Shrestha, the chairman of the school.[4]
