Roman Andreyevich Kartsev (Russian: Рома́н Андре́евич Ка́рцев, real name Roman Antshelevich Katz (Russian: Рома́н А́ншелевич Кац[1][2]); born May 20, 1939, Odessa) is a Soviet and Russian entertainer of stage, theater and cinema.
Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1990)[2][3], People's Artist of the Russian Federation (1999)[2][4]. Actor of the Moscow Theater of Miniatures under the leadership of Mikhail Zhvanetsky. For several decades he performed in a duet with Viktor Ilchenko (Kartsev and Ilchenko)[5].
In the movie began to withdraw from 1975, mostly in small, episodic, acute character roles.
