Ron Severini is an author, producer, and clown who started his career with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus in 1971.[1] He served as the Dean and Director of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Clown College from 1978 to 1984. Severini later went on to become a casting director for Ringling and created his own casting and talent agency. He is the author of several books about clowns and the circus. Severini appeared in Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus: Be a Clown as himself.[2]
