He scored the infamous "Goal Heard Round the World" on Saturday, December 17th, 2016. His goal against Eden Prairie made sure the Hornets were not shut out, as they went on to lose that game by a convincing score of 6-1.
In 2017, Matt Rozman opted to not play for the highly touted coach Curt Giles, instead he looked elsewhere and played for Edina's Junior Gold A hockey team.
Currently, Matt Rozman is seeking hockey opportunities at the next level, he is looking forward to playing in the NA3Hl next year. (per unknown media sources)
