Ronnie Makabai, also known as Bro. Ronnie Makabai, is a Ugandan Pastor, and founder of Holy City Entebbe, a Christian church located in Entebbe Kawuku Bwerenga that runs ARK television[1] and CHRIST FM 91.6 radio station[2] in Kampala, Uganda.

Biography[edit]

Ronnie Makabai is the pastor of Holy City Entebbe based in Entebbe Uganda. He first began ministry on 22 May 2006. He established Holy City Salaama on Munyonyo road, and later established Holy City Entebbe 28 May 2017.[3]

Controversy[edit]

Since 2017, Ronnie Makabai has been having fights with others pastors about the land where his church is sited.[4][5][6][7]Pastors claim that Ronnie Makabai is a fraud.[8][9][10][11][12]

During the Kenya Elections that happened on 9th August 2022, Ronnie Makabai revealed that there was to be violence and he prayed for Peace and prayed that Kenya gets a God fearing President[13] which later William Ruto came as president.[14]

In 2017, the pastors represented by the National Fellowship of Born-Again Pentecostal Churches (NFBAPC), the Born-Again Faith Federation (BAFFE), Evangelical Fellowship of Uganda (EFU) and Miracle Centre Cathedrals (MCC) signed a petition denouncing Ronnie Makabai of Holy City Entebbe.[15][16] Ronnie Makabai has fights about the land where his church is sitted.[4][7][6][9]
