Ronny Kagunzi is a Kenyan goalkeeper turning out for Kenyan National Super League side Nairobi City Stars.

Kagunzi featured for record Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia in 2010 and 2011 [1] before crossing over to City Stars in 2012. [2]

After two straight seasons at the Kawangware based club Kagunzi joined Nakuru AllStars for six months, [3] from January 2014, before travelling further downwards to Awendo to join Sony Sugar for the final six months of the year.

Goal keeping changes at Sony at the end of 2014 [4] saw Kagunzi return to City Stars for another two seasons; 2015 to the end of 2016. [5]

An opportunity at Ushuru F.C. saw Kagunzi cross over for a season before returning to City Stars in 2018 for a third time.

He led the team to a seventh place finish at the end of the 2018 season and to relegation survival at the end of the 2018/19 season.

Due to his goal keeping command and experience he was retained by City Stars for the 2019/20 season that kicked off in September 2019.
