The organization was established with the purpose to fight against human trafficking and Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV).[1][2][3]

Vision[edit]

According to its official website their mission is "Preventing and eliminating the scourge of trafficking in persons and Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Nigeria thereby improving the quality of life of victims through the provision of legal and humanitarian aid"[4]

Objectives[edit]

  1. To work for the social development of victims of Trafficking In Persons (TIP) and Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV) in Nigeria
  2. To participate and engage in public and community health programming.
  3. To assist in the process of social integration and personal realisation of victims of TIP and SGBV.
  4. To endorse the human rights and in particular the rights of victims of TIP and SGBV and promote gender equality.
  5. To encourage and popularise voluntary work.
  6. To provide Social, Educational and Economic Empowerment to the vulnerable population against TIP SGBV and irregular migration.
  7. To safeguard the rights of victims and provide for the wellbeing of Children in need, more particularly, children exposed to any form of abuse, and human trafficking.
  8. Acquainting victims with various Government programmes, schemes and welfare measures and enlisting them into same.
  9. Persistent sensitizing and capacity building among the general public, more particularly, Students in schools and colleges, Employees in corporate houses and other organizations.
  10. Providing medical assistance and pro bono legal aid to victims of TIP and SGBV.
  11. To mentor and provide guidance and counseling to victims of TIP and SGBV.
  12. Create massive campaign for awareness on the dangers of irregular migration, TIP and SGBV issues by disseminating information among the general public.
  13. Setting up a radio station to disseminate information on TIP And SGBV through programs, jingles etc.
  14. To take such other measures and render services or assistance including establishment of information center s, provision for shelter homes, skill Acquisition center, setting up of educational, research and training institutions, Sexual Assault Referral Centers (SARC) etc., to the aforesaid class of persons and other persons, as may be necessary from time to time for the betterment of society.
  15. Eradicate harmful cultural practices against women and children.
  16. To sponsor legislation to fight human trafficking and Sexual and Gender Based Violence.
  17. To associate itself with any other institution, Society or Association, having objectives wholly or in part, similar to those of this Foundation and to co-operate with any person or body of persons in furtherance of such objectives.[5]
