Rosalie Roy
Rosalie Roy (June 13, 1909 – June 9, 1990), born Rosa Lee Anderson, was an American actress, a starlet with Fox and Warner Brothers in the 1930s.
She appeared in the Fox Studios picture "Trans-Atlantic" in 1931[1] and the next year was signed to a long-term contract with Universal Pictures.[2] She eventually appeared in 17 films,[3] including the musical comedy "Hang Up Your Hat"[4] and the Warner Brothers picture "Gentlemen Are Born".[5] She is best known for Clancy of the Mounted (1933) and Young as You Feel (1931).[6]
She was described as one of the "sirenic ladies of the ensemble"[7] with auburn hair but "photographed as a brunette.[8] She was good friends with fellow actress Jean Harlow.
