Rose-Aimée Bélanger (born in Guérin, Québec, 1923) is a Franco-Ontarian sculptor who has exhibited her works since 1995. In 1945, she began her training at the École des Beaux-Arts in Montréal.[1] She is known for her sculpture, Les Chuchoteuses, on permanent display in Le Vieux Montréal.[1][2][3]

Inspiration[edit]

Rose-Aimée Bélanger is inspired by simple moments in life and small pleasures. In her women, her "rounds" as she calls them, the emotion comes through the eyes. This emotion is amplified by the sensuality of the roundness of the forms. The works of Rose-Aimée Bélanger are part of private and public collections.[1][4][3]
